The Firefish Goby (Nemateleotris magnifica) is a terrific little fish that makes a great addition to any (especially mini or nano) reef tank. This fish's bright colors ( a yellow head, white anterior, and pinkish to orange-red posterior. The dorsal, anal, and caudal fins are highlighted in black) make it stand out in any reef tank. The Firefish Goby is a near-perfect reef tank fish as it doesn't bother other fish, corals or invertebrates commonly found in a reef tank.

This fish is absolutely gorgeous! I bought two and they both have very different personalities. One spends most of his time out in the open and the other prefers to stay hidden and come out every now and then. They aren't a bold or aggressive fish so be wary if you have aggressive tank mates. Love these new additions!!

Nice looking fish, they just hide too much. Got these as my first fish in my establishing tank they spent the first few days hidden in the rock one of them never came out to eat and could only assume that it had died inside the rock as I never saw it again. The other was nice popped out of his bolt hole most of the time until you went near the tank.
